Members of the Long Island Sound chapter of the CWOA participated in the VETsports (https://www.facebook.com/vetsportsnortheast) North East golf tournament on April 29, at the Elmridge Golf Course in Pawtucket, Connecticut. The four man team, consisting of CWO Dave Palacios, CWO Mike Brandt, CWO (Ret) Scott Epperson, And Senior Chief John Agar, shot a 2 under par for 18 holes. The LIS Chapter and the local chapter of the Coast Guard Enlisted Association (https://www.facebook.com/CoastGuardEnlistedAssociation) both sponsored holes for the tournament. VETsports (http://www.vetsports.org) is a national organization that helps veterans better achieve their physical, mental, and emotional health through sports, physical activity, and community involvement.
